How to Take Time Off & Disconnect as a Small Business Owner

September 21, 2022

3:00 - 4:00 pm

As business leaders, we must be physically and mentally well to meet and exceed our business objectives. A key success factor is taking time off. In 2018, American workers failed to use 768 million days of paid time off, according to the U.S. Travel Association. Not taking time off is detrimental to our physical and psychological health, both of which are essential to help us reduce stress and thrive in our profession. How can we solve the problem of business leaders not taking their earned time off to protect their health?

In this session, Mark Mohammadpour of Chasing The Sun will discuss:

  • Brand-new insights based on survey results from business leaders on their experiences with health and the workplace.
  • The importance of taking time off on the mind and body.
  • Tactical advice to delegate and offload your work so you can take time off while still advancing business objectives.
  • How to set guardrails around availability with challenging customers.

Who should attend this class? Business owners or sole proprietors at all stages of operation.
