Whispering Wood Designs' ArtFest

Our wood working business will be 2 years old this fall and it’s time to celebrate the amazing products that have come from this little shop and Cindy’s vivid imagination!

We’ll have the pool room set up with items that would otherwise be in our “studio”.   Since the Gallery where our studio was housed, has closed, we’re bringing the studio to you.  Just in case you find something  you can’t live without; items can be purchased or ordered for the holidays.  

However, the main focus of our ArtFest is to share food, stories and renew connections.  Perhaps even find a few connections you didn’t realize were so close. As an example, last year, because of a necklace one woman was wearing, another recognized the style as being made in Thailand. Come to find out the former husband of the woman wearing the necklace had gone to grade school with the other woman who recognized the latch style when those 2 families lived in Thaiand many years ago!  

There are always surprises when we gather.  Come explore the theory that we are all connected by 6 degrees of separation. A theory that any two people in the world can be connected through a chain of "friends of friends." This idea, rooted in the concept of a "small world," suggests that we are all more interconnected than we might think through our various social networks.

To Prep for the Party: We’ll provide fall soups, breads, beverages, and munches.  Feel free to bring a dessert, finger foods and/or salads.
