Rafael Colón is the Business Outreach Manager for the Employment Security Department. Rafael has over 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur (sole-proprietor) along with his government management experience at both the Employment Security Department and the Department of Personnel (now Department of Enterprise Services). Rafael is a graduate of the Washington State Career Executive Program. He has several certifications and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and public administration from Washington State University, and completed several graduate level courses toward an MBA. Rafael is passionate about developing effective partnerships that help inform, educate and inspire small businesses to gain insights and leverage available government services and programs.
